Maurina Hylland brings 15+ years’ experience in the mortgage servicing arena, working numbers into solutions and helping homeowners affected by the market crash find an exit plan with dignity. She now brings that same compassion and analytical mind to assisting business owners with finding both their first and next perfect location for growing their personal business.
Maurina was raised in Boise, Idaho. She moved to Oregon at 16 after seeing the ocean for the first time and falling in love with it. She lived in Lincoln City for several years, working in different restaurants and retail stores, before relocating to Hillsboro to attend college and begin a career.
As a Chicago Bears fan, she clearly has a soft spot for the underdog. She fosters three teenage girls and volunteers in the youth program at church. She met her husband online two years ago and married him last August, changing her name from Maurina Estep to Maurina Hylland.
She enjoys barbeques with her neighbors, watching Timbers games, a good IPA, and -the best thing about Portland- riding the electric scooters downtown.
