In the late 1980’s Dirk Knudsen, Broker and C0-Owner of Platform Realty Group, handled the sale of a beautiful little farm in bucolic Helvetia, Oregon, He represented the Vester family who owned the farm and also represented Matt and Amy Roloff who were transferring in from California looking to start a new life.
Matt and Amy may be little people but their dreams are gargantuan, and now almost 30 years later that little farm and family have truly gone big time. The family and the farm are the subject matter of TLC’s series,“Little People, Big World,” The hit TV series is coming into its 13th season, and the kids who grew up on the farm are now having children of their own.
According to Us Weekly, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff will soon be parents. Jeremy is the oldest son, and he and his twin brother Zachary are both recently married and will both be having babies this season.
Audrey and Jeremy are expecting a baby due Sept. 1, 2017.
Zach Roloff, and his wife, Tori, are also expecting a baby, a boy. Their baby is due in May of this year.
Dirk and his family have been an integral part of the Roloff’s success with Dirk negotiating some very complex sales to help the family grow and expand their real estate and business operations. The families success has not come easily as they have struggled and worked to make it as farmers and TV Stars, It has been a wild ride, but we thank the Roloff’s for allowing us to be a part of their lives. Something we do with all our clients is to become involved as much as needed- in this situation that has been a complete commitment to the entire family.
Big congratulations are owed to Jeremy and Audrey as well as Zach and Tori Roloff! The 3rd generation of Roloff’s are on their way to the farm soon enough and no doubt some very amazing adventures are just ahead. To Matt and Amy, we just continue to marvel at all you have done and the legacy you are leaving for the children and the community at large! A job very well done indeed!
Dirk has been featured on the show 3 times over the years. Here is a look at one of those episodes.
